Meet Aaron Budd, Oklahoma Estate Planning Attorney.
The team behind Blue Line Legacy.
A small firm with one focus: getting estate planning right for the Oklahoma families who need it most.
Aaron Budd
Aaron Budd is the founding attorney of A.B. Legacy Law and the responsible attorney for Blue Line Legacy. He was admitted to the Oklahoma Bar in 2011 (OBA #30506) and practices estate planning, trust administration, probate, elder law, and business law. His background includes business and corporate law, which shapes how he approaches estate planning for first responders with side businesses, LLC ownership, and complex asset structures.
Aaron handles every consultation and every signed plan personally. He speaks regularly across Oklahoma on estate planning, probate, elder law, and the issues that come up for real estate investors and small business owners.
"Most legal problems in this area are not legal problems at the start. They start as unspoken assumptions inside a family. The legal documents that come out of estate planning matter. But what really protects people is the conversation those documents force families to have."
Still to add (Aaron): law school + graduation year, prior practice experience, bar association memberships, and a brief personal note (family, hobbies).
Behind Aaron, a team built around fast response.
Aaron handles every consultation and every signed plan himself. Behind him, our team handles the things that make a small firm feel responsive at scale.
Built around your schedule, not ours.

A real conversation, not a sales pitch.
Aaron's consult is a free 30 minutes. He listens, asks the questions that actually matter for your situation, and tells you which plan fits. If a plan doesn't fit your situation, he says so. If you need to think about it, you think about it. There is no pressure to engage today.
Most clients say the same thing after the call: "I've been putting this off for years and now I know what to do."
Why we built this.
We started Blue Line Legacy because law enforcement is an underserved population in the legal industry. First responders do work that is inherently dangerous, and the legal work that should accompany that risk often goes unaddressed. Part of the reason is access. Most law firms aren't built for shift schedules or for the financial reality of a working first responder. Part of it is something deeper. Conversations about death, about line-of-duty risk, about what happens to the people you love when something goes wrong, those conversations are treated as taboo in most settings. They get postponed, then forgotten.
We don't think they should be. First responders are some of the most prepared, most disciplined people in any profession, and they're capable of handling hard conversations directly. So that's how we run our firm. We take the conversations head-on. We do the planning the right way. And we make it accessible to the families who deserve it most.
That's why Blue Line Legacy exists.
